PEACOCKS AND PAIRS - SOLD OUT

The fabric this time is a striped blue pure handloom woven thick. This is a fabric that takes the appliqué embroidery like a fish to water. Beautifully painted pair of peacocks in a deep rust hand cut and appliqued painstakingly with ochre colour threads. The lower half in a leaf green with ochre geometric border. We studded them with mirrors to let the artwork stand out. The front is a wide “U” neck with block printed and indigo borders running around it. PEACOCKS AND PAIRS is our tribute to the artists of Kalahasthi.
