Indigo and ivory white kora from MALKHA ……how can anyone who love handlooms not love INDIGO??? No matter how many of them you have in your wardrobe you are always greedy for more. We have never run out of Indigo fabric at Svasa’s stock room and have never been left with unused ones too. Its our “BEST FRIEND FOREVER” . The Svasa Sunflower design is our chosen one for Revival today. This design was created in the 90’s and we have embroidered it in many combinations periodically. Its been a hit each time. Could not think of any other motif that would bring about this delightful freshness to the Malkha Indigo. Its a coarse and grainy fabric to work with ……….as usual this kind of weave gives our blouse a super fit. A front and back boat neck with a beautifully woven Indigo border around the neck and back. A hand block printed Indigo fabric with a deep blue base and ivory white is used for the longish sleeves. We have paired this with a leheriya Ghicha tussar silk Indigo saree. IVORY AND INDIGO is our heartbeat for the week.
