The lovely Kandangi Chettinad pure handloom is woven thick with rustic grains. The ochre and bluish stripes are straight from the village looms. We liked fusing it with another from our villages of bhuj in Indigo and madder into a squarish yoke with mirrors and dots around the yoke. The back too is another yoke in a square with the same work around it. The sleeve is a piped slit closed with fabric buttons in blue . The saree especially woven to suit these colors from the same village with the nostalgia of our revival project. OCHRE AND ORGANICS is our connect with the roots .
