A trip to Jaipur for a designer can never be complete until you visit Sanganer. The yards of block printed fabric and the smell of dyes and prints give you an adrenaline high. This Crimson red with hand block printed florals was a must have in our stock room. The color and prints were so beautiful they did not need much drama. A wide "U" neck in front and a drop neck at the back . Trims in mango yellow, black and Olive green lined the back and front necklines. Yellow threads on Olive and Orange on yellow were used to create a simple stitch called the "Pankhi Tanka" amongst the tribals in India to give this Sanganeri print an unusual twist. A gicha tussar hand printed black and fawn saree with the RED DROP blouse draped on our beautiful girl Vidya just took our breath away.
