Checks and colourful ones that too in pure handwoven yardage is a part and parcel of most festivities down south. It’s a pure kandangi weave today in checks with a bold tribal motif recreated and embroidered differently on the sleeve. A deep “U” neck at the back tied up with our traditional tassles.
