DANCING PEACOCK KALAMKARI a hand painted art form from Kalahasthi . The peacock in a rich turquoise is painted by hand and neatly embroidered, cut out and appliquéd onto a Caramel colored handwoven cotton . The neck is high and pot shaped lined with mirrors and a mango border alternated in rust and green thread embroidery. A rudraksham and peacock thread border highlight the back and the sleeve. The high pot neck and the dancing peacock is so typically Svasa. The women whom we have been dressing right from 1990’s will surely vouch for this. Our team is working its magic @Calm while we revive our masterpieces from the 90”s . TRADITIONAL is never out of fashion.
