FLOWERS ON BLACK

We just could not resist creating another of our popular designs on yet another linen in black cotton. A "U" neck in front and an almond shape slit at the back. The neck is lined throughout the front and back with two rows of mirrors and milky glass beads. The red, yellow and white "Phool Bootis" as they are popularly known are inspired from the tribal artists of kutch. The ladder style stitches are used to fill the geometric shaped flowers dotted with tiny milky beads in glass. Handmade cone shaped fabrics in colours of the embroidery have been sewn together in clusters by our talented girls to create a unique tassle to hold the backdrop neck together. This versatile blouse is matched with a traditional coarsely woven antique weave from the interiors of Tamil Nadu. FLOWERS ON BLACK for that fiery start to a Sunday.
RED DOT (4)

On popular demand we create design four of the RED DOT series. We made the DOT a bit bolder from the last one and used slate colour threads to embroider one of our popular borders around it. The back neck we cut a drop slit and piped it with turmeric yellow. Shingoda work around the front in a “V” shape hand hemmed and piping in yellow around the neck. RED DOT (4) for a vibrant start to the new month and fresh beginnings.

Once in every few days we love to revisit our signature creation . Each time we pair it with a different saree and the same FOUR FLOWER looks completely different. Today we have draped OUR TURMERIC COLOR FOUR FLOWER with a beautiful tussar saree hand block printed in vertical design using Tomato red, mustard and black with white paisleys. Saturdays are for introspection and consolidation . We recreate @calm and derive strength from our team that stays ever positive through it all.

On popular demand we create another for the RED DOT series. A more rustic and easy to wear for the summers. A high neck with a needle slit at the back highlighted with “takka” stitches in black thread. The RED DOT in chilly red color is circled with “takka “ stitches and a kutch border in a fiery orange. Tribal mirror work to hold it together in the centre. The fabric is an off white handloom from the villages of Andhra Pradesh. Thin red piping using chord adds class to the cuts. We have teamed this with the “TELIA RUMAL” saree . This as you all are familiar with is for the STRONG WOMAN that do not have attitudes………..ONLY STANDARDS. We stay strong through turbulent times and work on @Calm.

FOUR FLOWER is to Svasa what a Queen is to her Kingdom. This time it’s a black linen with deep pink and chilly red colored embroidery. There is so much written and said about FOUR FLOWER . This creation gave us our first success at blouses and there was no looking back post that. The bright pink shaded simple cotton kora saree and the FOUR FLOWER blouse to go with it is all you need to feel like a Queen . Refreshing and comforting this combination is our all time favourite…….we are pleased as PUNCH.
